Daniel Carcillo Gets Game Misconduct For Lashing Out At Linesman
Rangers forward Daniel Carcillo took an early exit from Game 3 after hitting linesman Scott Driscoll as Driscoll tried to pull him away from a fight.
Montreal's Brandon Prust and New York's Derek Dorsett dropped the gloves roughly six minutes into the first period, but only after Carcillo charged Prust (and received a minor). As Driscoll pulled him away, Carcillo resisted and jabbed the lineman with his elbow. Driscoll led Carcillo to the penalty box before officials issued a game misconduct, removing him from the rest of the game.
Carcillo could possibly face a suspension for his actions.
Before Carcillo's incident and the fight, Prust dished out a late hit on Derek Stepan. Stepan returned to the game, but this game's still been ugly.
