Donovan Bailey Was Pretty Psyched About A Canadian Winning Bronze In The 100m

Canada hasn’t seen seen the men’s 100m podium at the Olympics since Donovan Bailey rode a world-record 9.84s to gold in 1996. Andre De Grasse ended that drought tonight by placing third—and also ended a drought for Canadian men in Rio, who had yet to win any medals at all.


Bailey, now a CBC commentator, was pretty excited about it.
