The Ducks did not disclose financial terms, but multiple outlets reported the agreement was worth $6.9 million ($2.3 million average annual value).
The deal kicks in this season, which beings in nine days for the Ducks, and takes Drysdale through the 2025-26 season.
Drysdale, 21, was the sixth overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft. After making his league debut in 2020-21, he had his best season in 2021-22 when he tallied 32 points (four goals, 28 assists) and 72 blocked shots while playing 81 of a possible 82 games.
Drysdale was then limited to eight games last year when he suffered a season-ending torn labrum in his shoulder on Oct. 28.
"Jamie is a talented young defenseman with a bright future," Ducks general manager Pat Verbeek said in a statement. "We are happy this process is complete and look forward to his growth as a valued member of our organization."
