EMU Player Rightfully Pissed Only 373 People Came To Watch Them Win
Eastern Michigan beat Norfolk State at home in their first game of the CIT Tournament for the program's first postseason victory in almost 18 years, and fewer than 400 people were there to watch. Glenn Bryant, a senior on the team, was justifiably angry at the turnout.
The official attendance on the box score was 373. Yeesh.
According to Hustle Belt, Eastern Michigan's attendance has been awful all season, with an average of 901 people—including tonight's game—at the Eagles' Convocation Center. Even though the team won 21 games in the regular season, few turned up for them.
The second round of the CIT is March 21 and 22. If the Eagles get another home game, more than 373 people show up, hopefully.
