De'Aaron Fox's Game-Winning Put-Back Makes Doug Christie Say "NYAAAHH!"
Sacramento rookie De’Aaron Fox had an absolutely wonderful put-back slam to win the game for the Kings tonight in Miami.
But, like any great highlight, at least 25 percent of its joy is in the audio. Announcers Grant Napear and Doug Christie could not contain themselves—and really, they deserve to let loose in the doldrums of this Sacramento season. Napear gives an enthusastic, “Ohhhh boy!” but Christie is so hype that the English language cannot describe his emotions. The former Kings player simply lets out a cathartic yaup that I’m transcribing as “NYAAAHH!!” That’s probably the most accurate word there is for what Fox did.
