Dusty Baker Wants Fights To Settle Disputes In The MLB

In the sixth inning of Sunday's Cubs-Reds game, Cincinnati's Johnny Cueto threw a pitch over the head of David DeJesus, causing umpire Bob Davidson to warn both teams.
The Cubs ended up winning 5-4 in 10 innings, but Matt Garza was still angry. After the game, he called out Cueto, telling the "immature" Reds pitcher to grow up.
Reds manager Dusty Baker seemed tired of all the back-and-forth chirping, and proposed a solution: have the two angry players punch each other until one of them falls down.
Via Mark Sheldon:
"Just put them in a room, let them box and let it be over with. I always said this, let it be like hockey, let them fight, someone hits the ground and it's over with. I'm serious about that."
Baker's idea would make for an entertaining addition to baseball, although pitchers punching each other would probably result in an increase in DL trips. Maybe they could agree to use only their non-throwing hands?
