Rick Nash Is Super Eager To Impress His New Team
Newly acquired Rick Nash is only playing his second game as a Bruin tonight, but he’s already making all of his other Boston teammates look like slackers. Early in their game against the Hurricanes, a rebounding shot from Jaccob Slavin deflected off a skate, trickled past Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask, and looked to be headed slowly across the crease and into the net. But a hustling Nash, while in the process of falling on his ass, reached out with one arm and blocked the puck off the goal line with his stick.
On the normal game-camera angle, it’s hard to tell what exactly is happening, but with that slowed-down GIF above, you can see Nash’s delicate, savvy save in all its glory. What a go-getter!
