Titus Young Gets Car Impounded, Then Arrested Trying To Steal His Car
Free agent wide receiver Titus Young was arrested twice in 15 hours on Sunday. The first time, his black Mustang was impounded. He was later nabbed while trying to jump the tow-yard fence to retrieve his car.
Just after midnight on Sunday in Moreno Valley, California, the former Detroit Lion was pulled over when he made an illegal left turn directly in front of a police cruiser. Young was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The Oakland Press, which originally reported the incident, has more:
He was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center and later issued a citation and released from custody.
Hours later, at 2:22 p.m. that day, officers responded to a tow company yard where a man was seen jumping over the fence. It was Young looking for his black Mustang.
He was arrested for burglary after the police determined he was trying to take his own vehicle. He was booked again at the same detention center.
Young, 23, was cut from the Lions on February 4.
