Video: Toronto Blue Jays Pitcher J.A. Happ Hit In Head By Line Drive
In the second inning of tonight's game against the Tampa Bay Rays, J.A. Happ was struck in the head from a line drive hit off of Desmond Jennings. He immediately collapsed, bloodied, and his teammates and medical personnel rushed to his side.
He was on the ground for several minutes and had to be immobilized and stretchered off the field. Here's the video, via MLB.com:
