Falcons Cut Player After Learning Of Four Separate Sexual Assault Allegations

The Atlanta Falcons released former Utah State linebacker Torrey Green today after prosecutors decided to give another look at the claims of four women who alleged that Green sexually assaulted them.
The that all four accusations—made by four women who didn’t know each other—were filed in 2015, while Green was still at the university. Green was never charged, and still hasn’t been, but Cache County deputy attorney Barbara Lachmar told the Tribune that she would be examining the allegations again, along with doing some “additional investigation.”
The Falcons signed Green as an undrafted rookie. Owner Arthur Blank talked about Green’s release today at practice:
