French Soccer Fans Rep Their Club With Stunning Colored Dust Cloud
Hey, this is really cool. Girondins de Bordeaux hosted AS Saint-Étienne today, and Bordeaux's fans thought of a cool new way to support their squad: dust.
In the video above, you can see all the fans behind the visitors goal decked out in clear ponchos. Then just before kickoff, they count down from 10. When they reach "un," the section erupts as the fans throw canisters of colored dust in the air, which floats over them in the end.
The result is a ghostly, beautiful rainbow cloud which floats over the section. Then the partially-shrouded fans start singing and dancing, and—if this is the sort of thing that you're into—this is around the time you might start feeling some goosebumps.
