Per the European Tour Group, Green tested positive for a substance contained in an herbal supplement available in Asia as a therapeutic treatment for an undisclosed medical condition.
Green, 32, began his ban on Dec. 5 and is eligible to return to competition on March 5.
Ranked No. 554 in the world, Green was retrospectively disqualified from the 2025 Danish Golf Championship, the tournament where the doping control test was taken. He finished in a tie for 40th place at the event.
"Green has cooperated fully with the Tour throughout the process and accepted the suspension," the European Tour Group announced.
Green, who played collegiately at the University of New Mexico, has yet to win on the DP World Tour.
