Just hours after reports surfaced about Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future with the Milwaukee Bucks being unknown, the superstar left Wednesday night’s game against the Detroit Pistons with a calf strain.

On Thursday, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that Antetokounmpo could miss up to four weeks with that strained calf muscle — causing some to question whether or not the Greek Freak has played his last game in a Bucks uniform.

If Milwaukee decides to trade their homegrown superstar, these three destinations make a lot of sense.

San Antonio Spurs

The Spurs could make back-to-back Rookie of the Year winners Stephon Castle, Victor Wembanyama, and No. 2 overall pick Dylan Harper untouchable in trade conversations and still find a way to add Antetokounmpo to their young core.

A trade package centered around De’Aaron Fox and a slew of draft picks would help the Bucks expedite their rebuild while landing a championship-caliber player in San Antonio.

Just picturing the length of Wembanyama and Antetokounmpo on the floor together is enough to invoke fear into opposing coaches — let alone having to scheme around the scoring ability of Castle and Harper as well.

Cleveland Cavaliers

While everybody nationally is looking at the New York Knicks as the team facing a lot of pressure to win the East, the Cavaliers might make more sense for Giannis.

The Knicks are strapped for assets after landing Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges last offseason.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers are the NBA’s lone team in the second apron. They’d need to exit that situation in order to land Antetokounmpo in Cleveland. However, the NBA’s most expensive roster ever is currently 13-10, the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference.

While Cavs President of Basketball Operations Koby Altman has valued his core four of Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, Darius Garland, and Jarrett Allen, there’s no debating that the team must make it to the Eastern Conference Finals at minimum this season.

A core of Antetokounmpo and Mitchell would be enough star power to get the Cavaliers out of the East, even if this trade would require plenty of cap gymnastics.

Want to get crazy? Let’s get crazy.

It’s well known that Antetokounmpo prefers to play in a big market, as the Knicks are the only known team that he wants to play for.

But teaming up with international superstar Luka Doncic in Hollywood would make the Lakers must-see TV and could help prevent the looming Oklahoma City Thunder dynasty.
