Give The Field Hockey Guys Longer Sticks

I’ve been watching Olympic field hockey all morning, and I have discovered that I quite enjoy the sport. I like how they whack the ball really hard and that there are corner kicks, er, slaps. I do have one critique: The dang sticks are too short!

Everyone playing looks miserable, because whenever a player possesses the ball he has to hunch all the way over, due to the fact that his stick appears to be designed for use by a small child rather than an adult. Look at these poor schmucks:

I bet this sport is murder on your back, and I bet the players would be able to move a lot faster and have a lot more fun if they had longer sticks. Something for the IOC to think about, in my opinion.
