Happy Trails, Holmes
This image was lost some time after publication. In very sad news, Kansas City Chiefs running back Priest Holmes is out for the season and, according to several sources, could end up retiring. (A Chiefs spokesperson denies the retirement rumors.)
Whether Holmes is retiring or just going to miss the season, it's clear he'll never be the same again, and that makes us all wistful. He's a notoriously nice and hard-working guy, and, in our favorite Priest Holmes moment ever, he once apologized to fantasy football owners who drafted him when he was too injured to play on his official Web site. We always loved that. Good luck, Priest.
