There have been no arrests, and the subjects of the investigation have not been identified by police, but Mack Brown has suspended quarterback Case McCoy and linebacker Jordan Hicks for Saturday's Alamo Bowl game against Oregon State, according to what sources told 247 Sports' Bobby Burton. Brown said he did so because the pair violated team rules, though he hasn't said which rules.
We have received a copy of the redacted report made to San Antonio police at 2:49 a.m. today by a 21-year-old woman who says she was raped. The suspects have been identified as a 20-year-old black man who stands 6-2, 235, and a 21-year-old white man who is 6-0, 180. On UT's football website, Hicks is listed at 6-2, 235, but McCoy is listed at 6-2, 200. Both are juniors.
The cop dispatched to the scene noted that the alleged victim "had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath and was crying alongside her friend." The alleged victim said she had four drinks. The alleged victim also said she didn't remember exactly what happened, but that she met the two men at at a nightclub and then went with them to a bar at her hotel, after which she brought them to her room.
The alleged victim told police, "I feel ashamed saying this, but I know [REDACTED] was in me. [REDACTED] just stood there and watched. I don't quite remember." The reporting officer noted that he observed bruising on the victim's right knee and left bicep. The hotel room was processed by investigators. The alleged victim was taken to a nearby hospital for an evaluation. The two suspects were also transported separately to the same hospital to be evaluated by the same nurse a sexual assault nurse examiner.
