Missy Franklin took part in the swimming world championships in Barcelona today and just ruined everyone else's day. In case you forgot, she's only 18 years old.
The teenager took home five gold medals and set a championship record time in one of her events. She ties the record for most golds won by a woman at a single world championships. She is 18.
Franklin's five victories were in the 200m backstroke (with a record time of 2:04.76), 100m backstroke, 200m freestyle, and the 4x100m and 4x200m freestyle relays.
One last reminder: Franklin can't buy wine coolers, but she's already tied a swimming record that includes any woman who has competed at a world championships.
