Friend of the site Ken Tremendous/Michael Schur/Mose Schrute broke a lot of hearts when he left Fire Joe Morgan to create and executive produce Parks and Recreation, but it's probably for the best.

Mr. Schur was nice enough to send us a clip from tonight's episode of Parks, entitled "Telethon," wherein the Amy Poehler character, a small-town-Indiana bureaucrat in the parks department, organizes a telethon and lands Det The Threat as a celebrity guest. If that's not absurd enough for all of you out there, I don't know what is.
