Here's LaVar Ball Being Raucously Booed While Leaving The Draft

As expected, the Lakers selected UCLA point guard Lonzo Ball with the second overall pick of tonight’s NBA draft. As expected, his father LaVar Ball had some grand proclamations to make beforehand. (Mainly that he had it on the good authority of Zeus and Jesus themselves that Lonzo would be drafted by the Lakers.)

Perhaps unsurprisingly, he got more noise from the crowd while leaving the arena than just about anything else did over the course of the night—some pretty intense booing, to which he simply tossed his personally-branded hat in the air.

It’s only going to get worse from here.
