High School Cheerleader Sets Record With 44 Back Handsprings In A Row
Mikayla Clark of Westlake High School (Ga.) broke a world record with 44 consecutive back handsprings at her high school football team's homecoming game.
Clark attempted to break the previous record of 36 after finding the video online and deciding she could do better. Seriously. That's all it took.
From FOX 5:
"I was looking at world records and I just happened to see the most consecutive back handsprings," said Westlake High School student Mikayla Clark. "I clicked on the link and I was like, ‘Oh, she did 36,' and I said, 'I think I can beat that.'"
Without sarcasm, this is Atlanta's best athletic achievement in weeks.
