Holster, Dog Agility Champion, We Salute You
There are precious few things you can count on for certain in this life. One of those: dog agility contests will always be delightful. This here’s Holster, a six-year-old Australian Shepherd. As you can see from the photo up top, he’s a very good dog who loves pets, and as you can see from the video below, he’s also a champion athlete.
Holster became the first Australian Shepherd to win the master’s agility competition, as well as the first non-border collie to win (Stats have only been kept about this since 2014. We are living in the golden age of dog analytics).
When asked about the win, Holster said, “Woof!” (Probably). Here’s Tex, who won it last year.
