How About We Just Do Two More Weeks Of Wiggins Vs. Gobert
Listen, man, we're all ready for the NBA regular season to be over and for the playoffs to just start already. Russell Westbrook slaying the world is great and all, but the Raptors and Wizards zombie-shuffling their way toward what will be the saddest first-round playoff series in history while the rest of the non-playoff teams busy themselves trying to out-tank each other is some shit I would be just fine with skipping. So I have a proposal: Let's cancel the last two weeks of the season, and just let Andrew Wiggins and Rudy Gobert go at each other every night.
The Jazz beat the Timberwolves by 20 last night, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that soon-to-be Rookie of the Year Andrew Wiggins, who has been throwing down some Young Kobe dunks this year, spent the night going right at the neck of Rudy Gobert, a goddamn tower of a man who has quickly become the best defensive center in the league. It was awesome!
Wiggins got things started early in the first quarter, with this dunk right on Gobert's facial area:
That was a pretty cool dunk, but a little while later Wiggins was like, "Nah, I need to hit that big fool even harder":
And then he tried it again like 30 seconds later! But Gobert had something to say this time:
Basketball is cool as hell.
