Lamar Wilkerson scored 18 of his 24 points in the second half as Indiana pulled away for an 84-66 Big Ten win over Maryland on Wednesday in College Park, Md.

Tayton Conerway contributed 19 points and eight rebounds as the Hoosiers (12-3, 3-1 Big Ten) won their fourth straight, all by double-digit margins.

Conor Enright scored a season-high 16 points and Reed Bailey added 15 off the bench for Indiana, which led by just one point early in the second half before Wilkerson went on a scoring binge.

Sixteen of Wilkerson's points came within a span of less than five minutes as the Hoosiers extended their lead to 15 points with just over 12 minutes to play.

The Hoosiers, who have depended heavily on their accuracy from 3-point range, overcame an early drought as they missed nine straight shots from distance at one point before recovering to finish 8 of 25 (32%) from beyond the arc.

Indiana compensated for the early long-range struggles by making its first 17 free-throw attempts on the way to a 22-of-26 (84.6%) performance from the line.

Elijah Saunders delivered 16 points and seven rebounds to pace Maryland (7-8, 0-4), which lost for the seventh time in its last nine games.

Solomon Washington had 14 points and nine rebounds, and Darius Adams scored 13 points for the Terrapins, who are off to their worst start since the 1991-92 season.

Maryland also was cold from beyond the arc in the first half, missing its first eight tries and finishing 5 of 26 (19.2%) from long distance.

The Terrapins led for most of the first 12 minutes before the Hoosiers went on an 12-0 run with all but two points coming from the free-throw line.

Bailey's four charity tosses ended the run as Indiana took a 23-16 lead.

In the final minute of the half, Andre Mills ended the Terrapins' drought from 3-point range to cut the Hoosiers' advantage to 36-31 at the break.

In the game's decisive stretch of the second half, Indiana outscored Maryland 22-6. Wilkerson fueled the surge with a four-point play and followed 34 seconds later with a trey.

Wilkerson then added a mid-range jumper, a triple and a driving layup as the Hoosiers swelled their lead to 61-44 with 11:34 left.
