It's Been A Year Since Odell Beckham's Catch
It was one year ago today, a Sunday night game between the Giants and Cowboys, when Odell Beckham Jr. made his one-handed catch. I have absolutely nothing to add to this commemoration, other than gifting you the blessed memory of the totally fucking awesome thing that happened.
I will go to my death insisting that Beckham’s catch was the only interesting thing to happen in the NFL last season until the Super Bowl. I could probably be convinced it was the most impressive catch I’ve ever seen. Since then, we’ve learned that Beckham is every bit as good as advertised—even if he does still go for one-handed grabs more often than is strictly necessary. If he never does anything again, though, we’ll always have that time I ran around my living room screaming.
