Jack Sock Blasts Two Forehands

The Laver Cup, which began today in Prague, is like a men’s tennis All-Star game—except good, because the players try. Over three days, some of Europe’s best are pitted against some of the best from everywhere else, on a greyscale court that makes every match look like an expensive cologne ad.

The highlight of today’s doubles match between Team World (Jack Sock/Nick Kyrgios) and Team Europe (Rafael Nadal/Tomas Berdych) was Sock’s inside-out forehand return. Look at this beauty:

He tried the same trick at 5-4 in the deciding tiebreak., a real thunderbolt that Nadal let whizz by him.
