Jameer Nelson Did The Big Balls Dance
Last night's Bulls-Magic game was a three-overtime thriller marked by plenty of big shots, but it would just have been a standard 101-99 Bulls win if not for Jameer Nelson and his big balls. Here we see Nelson tying the game with a jumper in the closing seconds of the fourth quarter, and then hitting us with the classic Sam Cassell.
Nelson is the first player to bust out this particular celebration since Marco Belinelli did it last May. Nelson's a bit more committed to the gesture than Belinelli was, which is appreciated, although it will likely earn him a larger fine than the $15,000 the league slapped Belinelli with. Maybe Nelson will reach the $25,000 mark, which is the amount Eddie House earned after brandishing his fake nuts with serious gusto in 2011.
If NBA players have taught us one thing over the years, it's that no amount of monetary punishment can keep them from doing the big balls dance, and we dig that. The big balls dance is great. Long live the big balls dance.
