Jarrod Dyson Made The Home Run Robbery Of The Year
Photo credit: Wilfredo Lee/ [object Object] Nobody has ever robbed a home run at the Marlins’ stadium, until this evening, when Royals center fielder Jarrod Dyson got all the way up to snatch one away from Christian Yelich.
Statcast says that he covered 98 feet to make the grab, and reached 19.8 MPH on his way to the wall. The eye test says that the way he chopped up his stride like a high jumper in preparation to hit the wall was extremely cool.
