Jimmy Butler Did Not Enjoy That Football Game
Via YouTube The Wolves whomped the Cavs last night, 127-99, as LeBron James played one of the spottiest games of his career. But for Jimmy Butler—heard here hollering in the background—the night’s real emotional stakes only came afterwards, as he watched the final moments of the college football championship. Karl-Anthony Towns trolled him with a well-timed “Roll Tide,” but Butler wasn’t having it.
Before things came apart for Georgia, Butler was polite enough to field questions with his attention fixed on the TV. This video contains heroic levels of patience and multi-tasking:
It’s been a tough few days for Jimmy Butler the football fan. After Saturday’s wild-card game between the Rams and Falcons, he returned to the locker room to discover that the Rams—whom he apparently prefers over the Falcons, even though he is a Georgia fan(?)—had lost the game:
