Joakim Noah Takes The Time To Properly Curse Out The Refs
Joakim Noah suffered a mini-meltdown after being ejected last night against Sacramento, but he's a master craftsman, and so wasn't about to leave the court without individually telling each ref what he thought about them.
After picking up his second technical for arguing a foul call, Noah pointed to each of the three refs in turn and shouted, "Fuck you." Upon being escorted off the court, Noah had one last "Fuck you" for the entire arena. Yeah! Damn the man. Fuck everything and everyone! I'm going to my room!
A genuinely contrite Noah apologized afterward, and maybe headed off a fine from the league:
"I'm really disappointed. I shouldn't have acted that way. I apologize, I'm sorry to all three referees out there. They're out there trying to do their jobs and I should never have said the things that I said. I hope they accept my apology and I hope I can move on from this.''
Noah said he was upset with the game, an eventual 99-70 Kings win in which he was one of six from the floor at the time of his ejection. It also marked the end of his double-digit rebound streak at 18 games, and the Bulls once again fell under .500. Meanwhile Carlos Boozer is complaining about playing time, Tom Thibodeau is firing right back, and the team's a mess. Noah can be somewhat excused.
