Kobe Bryant, All About The DRAMA
We have a hard time firing ourselves up about front-office intrigue, mainly because it's usually just people posturing about money and "respect" and all kinds of silliness. But we have been enjoying this Kobe Bryant and the Lakers business, if just because it's not every day that a guy who was once on trial for rape accuses his boss of lying to the press just hours before that same boss is arrested for a DUI. Heck, it's almost like Los Angeles contains some inherent drama.
Anyway, in the wake of it all, Kobe is now telling all in his "blog."
I saw an article this AM in the LA Times which said a Lakers' "insider" noted that my wanting to "get away from Shaq" is what created this whole "mess" the Laker's currently find themselves in. Man, hearing something like that, which is not true, and which comes from the "inside" is totally frustrating. The fact of the matter is that many people don't know what really went down when I was approaching free agency because I have stayed quiet about it this whole time.
We love, by the way, that Kobe signs his posts "Strength And Honor." Weren't those the two dancers Curt Schilling was always talking about?

(UPDATE: Now Kobe wants to be traded. Wait, he told this to Stephen A. So he WANTS TO BE TRADED!!!)
