Last Day Of Busch
This image was lost some time after publication. In about an hour and a half, at 4 p.m. ET, the first wrecking ball will hit Busch Stadium, smashing into Busch's southwest corner. From the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: "Its first victim will be a section of the ring of arches, the signature crown that made Busch instantly recognizable."
R.I.P., Busch. We can't say much more about this than we already have, and, honestly, we don't have the heart to watch. We still have a tiny hope that they're going to change their minds; maybe the wrecking ball will pull a Hector Luna and completely miss.
Farewell, Busch [Get Up, Baby]
