Lions' C.J. Mosley Suspended For Two Weeks, Sent Home From London
Detroit Lions defensive tackle C.J. Mosley was suspended for two weeks and sent home from London, the team announced Saturday morning. The Lions are playing the Atlanta Falcons at Wembley Stadium tomorrow.
Right now, it's unclear what Mosley did that not only warranted a suspension, but also a special transatlantic flight to get him out of the country. The Lions are saying the suspension is a result of conduct detrimental to the team and a violation of team rules.
Mosley must feel like the middle school rabble rouser who gets sent home early from the big, end-of-the-year field trip. Although we're guessing Mosley did more than pull the fire alarm in the team hotel.
