Magic Johnson Says Sterling "Shouldn't Own A Team Anymore"
Magic Johnson, referenced in Donald Sterling's racist conversation, said yesterday that he won't attend any Clippers games as long as Sterling is the owner. Magic took that sentiment to its logical end today and called for his removal from ownership.
After the league finishes investigating, he wants Commissioner Adam Silver to come down hard on Sterling. "He shouldn't own a team anymore and he should stand up and say I don't want to own a team anymore. Especially when you have African Americans renting his apartments, coming to the games, and playing for him, and coaching for him."
The walls continue to crumble around Sterling as everyone waits to see what Silver and the league will do.
