The Dallas Mavericks and Detroit Pistons were tied with seconds to go in the Orlando Pro Summer League championship game. The Pistons inbounded, but Luis Montero stopped anyone from getting a good look inside. Dwight Buycks ended up with the ball with just seconds to play. He looked up court. A summer league championship was free and clear!

Unfortunately, Mavericks coach Mike Weinar had called timeout. Dallas didnā€™t score on its final regulation possession, so the game would head to overtime, where, fortunately for them, Johnathan Motley broke an 81-all tie with a last-second jumper and the Mavs won anyway.
