Meet The Olympics' Newest Heartthrob: Ryan Wieber, Brother Of Jordyn
So the internet is in a tizzy over the rather young Ryan Wieber!
What do we know about him? He was a pretty solid quarterback at a Michigan high school. Last year, he threw for 1,050 yards and had seven touchdowns; he also ran for 1,585 yards and averaged 8.9 per carry (a Tebow type?). He earned an all-state honorable mention and he'll be attending Central Michigan in the fall.
Oh yes, this is more relevant: He's listed at 5'9 and 156 pounds.
Let us take a look at what has been said over the last day or so:
He is keeping a diary for the Lansing State Journal. He thinks people in London are very friendly. He seems to be enjoying his trip:
The next day, we woke up and went to Westminster Abbey. I thought that was awesome. It was very cool to see that. The graves of the old kings and queens really stood out to me. It works well because you have a little phone that acts as your tour guide, so you can go at your own pace, put it on the station you're at and it tells you about the station.
Sounds like he's got the earnest, twee teenage heartthrob thing down.
