Michael Zerafa Stretchered Out Of Ring After Being Knocked Out By Peter Quillin
Peter Quillin improved his career record to 32-0-1 after a knockout of Michael Zerafa so brutal his opponent had to be stretchered out of the ring.
It was Zerafa’s first time being knocked out in his career, and only his second overall loss. Quillin is a former WBO world middleweight belt-holder, and called out current WBA champ Daniel Jacobs for a December title fight in Brooklyn. He might not want to do that.
The fight doctor later told NBC that Zerafa was responsive upon being carried out of the ring.
