Minor League Pitcher Pokes MLB On Facebook

Right-handed pitcher Jensen Lewis, 23, owned AAA hitters over the last month. At Buffalo he has posted a record of 1-0 with a save and a 1.38 ERA in 10 games, eight of which were scoreless.

So it came as no surprise when the Cleveland Indians called Lewis up to the big leagues. And how did Cleveland fans learn of such news? Oh, on Lewis' Facebook page, of course! Check it:

Jensen Lewis is in a state of amazement.. got the call, SEE YOU IN THE BIG LEAGUES!!!!!!

Five hours later, the Indians released the actual press release. Unfortunately it lacked Lewis' passion for the exclamation mark.
