Miss America Takes Crown Thanks To Declaring That Tom Brady "Definitely Cheated"
Miss Georgia Betty Cantrell is your new Miss America, and she won the title shortly after responding to a Tom Brady ball-deflation question with: “If there was question there, then yes, I think he cheated.”
It’s actually a bit more complicated than that—and we think Miss Georgia herself cheated, by buying herself some extra time after claiming she couldn’t understand the question. That question, issued by country musician Brett Eldredge, was simply “Did Tom Brady Cheat?”
Um... that’s a really good question. I’m not sure. I think I’d have to be there, to see the ball, and, uh, feel it, make sure if it was deflated or not deflated. But, um, if there was question there? Then yes, I think he cheated. If there was any question to be had, I think that he definitely cheated and that he should have been suspended for that. That’s not fair.
What? That’s no Miss Utah USA, but if we’ve ever heard such an empty yet definitive answer, this is it. Which I suppose makes Miss Georgia most qualified to represent this country after all.
