North Carolina defensive back T.J. Jiles was arrested early this morning and charged with assaulting a bouncer outside of a downtown Raleigh club. A Raleigh PD officer witnessed Jiles get into a fight with a club employee and “assault the employee,” after which Jiles was arrested. According to WNCN, he is being held on $1,200 bond.

#11 North Carolina beat NC State 45-34 yesterday afternoon in Raleigh. Jiles is a senior who plays primarily on special teams. He’s from Cape Coral, Florida, where he was a 3-star recruit out of Cape Coral High School. He has one career interception.
