OK State Buzzer-Beater Forces OT After Steal With Three Seconds Left
Leyton Hammonds stole an inbound pass and heaved up a buzzer-beating three to tie his Oklahoma State Cowboys with Baylor in Waco.
There's not many times when a team with the ball, a three-point lead, and three seconds remaining doesn't win. Sure, a three-point lead is never safe (to quote Bill James, even) but it took an exceptional amount of a) Baylor ineptitude and b) stones on behalf of Hammonds to make this happen. Kudos to Brent Musburger on the terrific call, too. [ESPN]
