Philly Car-Tip Victim Inches Closer to Leaving Public Transportation Behind
Many unfortunate car owners in the Philadelphia area were impacted by the chaos that invaded Broad Street soon after the Philadelphia Phillies (WFC) won the World Series that night. One man, Ted Passon, of Philadelphia, whose car was recklessly flipped over during the Broad Street celebration at 1:30 a.m., decided to try to recoup his loss — by requesting the kind-hearted people of his home city to pay for the damages via blog. Ness launched the site a couple days after the incident last week and so far, I'm happy to report he's raised $2,750 to get some new wheels. If the Deadspin community would be so kind to help him out as well, I think he'd appreciate it. The boy is getting holes in his shoes. Philly Fix My Car [Blogspot]
