Puig Back
Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig returned to game action last week after missing more than a month of the season due to a bum hamstring, and it is real nice to have him back, because he’s been playing just like his old self.
He’s got nine hits in 15 at-bats since returning to the Dodgers’ lineup, and last night against the Diamondbacks he was a triple away from the cycle after the fourth inning. It was a very Puig game, complete with a opposite-field homer and one of his patented “No! No! Yes! Yes!” sprints for an extra base:
Again, don’t let anyone try to convince you that the Dodgers are better off without Puig.
