Report: Bulls seeking to trade Zach LaVine before draft

The Chicago Bulls are actively shopping two-time All-Star guard Zach LaVine ahead of next week's NBA draft, NBC Sports Chicago reported Thursday.
Vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas has floated "as many as 15 proposals" involving LaVine with teams including the Sacramento Kings, Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers, per the report.
LaVine, 29, missed most of last season with a right foot injury that required surgery. He averaged 19.5 points in 25 games (23 starts).
Unloading LaVine, who carries cap hits of $43 million in 2024-25 and $46 million in 2025-26, would help Chicago re-sign DeMar DeRozan and Patrick Williams this offseason.
Drafted out of UCLA with the 13th pick by Minnesota in 2014, LaVine played three seasons with the Timberwolves before being dealt in June 2017 to the Bulls along with Kris Dunn and the No. 7 overall pick for Jimmy Butler and the No. 16 overall pick.
He has career averages of 20.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 580 games (491 starts).
The Bulls have the 11th overall pick in the draft that begins Wednesday with the first round in Brooklyn, N.Y.
