The photo above was actually taken by the fella who was impaled by the javelin during a high school track and field event in Utah, which is just both admirable and completely cringe-worthy. Amazingly, Utah Standard-Examiner photog Ryan McGeeney required only 13 stitches to sew up the hole in his knee caused by a goddamn javelin.
Even though McGeeney was said to have been laughing and joking about his odd predicament during the event, it's understandable if anyone else looking at this photo for an extended period of time makes hissing noises or begins reflexively rubbing their knee. You're obviously a 10-year-old girl and have no business reading this site anyway.
