Sixers sign veteran G Cameron Payne

Waived by the Indiana Pacers before the start of the 2025-26 season, Payne has been playing for Serbian side KK Partizan. He averaged 11.6 points and 3.8 assists in 15 games.
Payne, 31, played in 31 games (eight starts) for Philadelphia during the 2023-24 season, averaging 9.3 points and 3.1 assists and shooting 38.2% from 3-point range.
The 2015 first-round draft pick played in 72 games (five starts) for the New York Knicks last season, averaging 6.9 points and 2.8 assists in 15.1 minutes per game.
Payne owns career averages of 7.8 points and 3.2 assists in 477 games (71 starts) with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Brewers, Sixers and Knicks.
