When Miggy met the eight year-old fan, suffering from muscular dystrophy, he was so touched that the shortstop promised to hit a home run on his behalf. The Astros were losing when Miggy went deep off of Carlos "Hirsute" Villanueva, and from there the proverbial flood gates were opened.
