Smell Like Burning Tires

As far as NASCAR-branded products go, nothing quite compares to the NASCAR romance novels, but this one is at least in the ballpark.

NASCAR is introducing the Daytona 500 cologne, which promises to "leverage the prestige and popularity of the great American race." This seems different to us than the Derek Jeter cologne, in that it is not the smell of a person, but in fact of a race. We have never been to the Daytona 500, but we can't imagine it, you know, smells all too pleasant.

But maybe we're being snobby; maybe axle grease is a happy pungent aroma in some places. One never knows, we guess.
