Someone Stole $50,000 In Cash From Ed Reed's Car
According to Houston police, someone stole a bag containing $50,000 in hundreds from the front seat of 2006 Audi belonging to safety Ed Reed. What was he doing with $50,000 in cash? Buying a better car?
Investigators believe Reed was followed, since he stopped at a bank down the street before parking in front of a separate, second bank. Why two banks? Maybe this was one of those things where the ATM has a limit on how much you can take out at once, and he needed more than $50K. Or maybe no one's told Reed there's an easier way to transfer money between accounts.
Police have not said whether the bag was a sack with a big dollar sign on it.
