South Dakota State Tight End Makes A Gorgeous One-Handed Touchdown Catch
The fade route, in theory, should exploit the height mismatch between the receiver and defender, but it usually results in an aggravating incompletion. In Saturday’s game against Drake, South Dakota State tight end Dallas Goedert made it work.
Goedert used one hand to snag Taryn Christion’s pass for a 42-14 lead. He also tapped both feet in bounds, even though he needed just one. When the fade’s successful, it’s a beautiful thing.
