St. Louis Blues vs. Winnipeg Jets January 20th NHL Betting Picks, Predictions
No sugar coating it, we’re slumping here. The Olympic break is just a couple weeks away, so let's try to rebound with an NHL picks winner tonight.

Blues at Jets
Blues ML (+110 bet365)
These two teams met in an extremely dramatic Round 1 playoff series last season. The Blues were up 3-1 in Game 7 with 1:56 left in regulation.
But then Vladislav Namestnikov scored, followed by a Cole Perfetti goal with just 3 seconds left to send it to OT. The Jets then won it early in the 2nd OT as St. Louis native and son of a former Blue Adam Lowry tipped one in at 16:10 to send Winnipeg on.
Somehow neither team has recovered nearly nine months later.
They sit respectively 13th and 15th in the 16 team NHL Western Conference. But hey, eight teams make the playoffs last I checked and they’re still alive at 5 and 7 points out respectively.
The Jets relied a lot on goalie Connor Hellebuyck last year, as he won the Vezina Trophy with a sparkling 92.5% Save%, 41.6 GSAA season.
But he’s battled injuries a bit this year and is overall just above league average at 90.1% Save% and 3.1 GSAA. He likely will not start tonight however as its the 2nd game of a back to back.
But there’s really no dropoff right now when he’s out as backup Eric Comrie has a 90.4% Save% and -0.77 GSAA.

The offense still features pretty much the same crew from last year. Mark Scheifele (23-35-58) and Kyle Connor (23-33-56) can still find the back of the net and Josh Morrissey remains one of the best all around defensemen in the league.
They just do not keep the puck out of the net like they did in 2024-25.
They have gone on a mini heater lately though as they were 4-0-1 before losing 2-0 to Chicago last night.
The Blues would salivate at a streak like that. In fact they have yet to win more than 2 in a row all year.
And it won't happen tonight as they come in off a 5-0 pasting in Edmonton on Sunday night.
But they have a couple things going for them.
For one they’ve played oddly well north of the border, going 4-1-1 in Canada this season.
For another they are expected to start Joel Hofer in net tonight. Back to November 29th he’s 9-4 with a 93.1% Save% and 7.77 GSAA.
The team just plays much better around him as well.
Let’s roll with the Blues at plus money in a Revenge spot.
